Onboarding Specialist/Marketing Inside Sales Representative - Military veterans preferred

POSITION SUMMARY:  This position will have responsibility for updating account information, generating leads and providing support to Hawthornes sales groups within the retail customer accounts (Tier 2 & 3 customers). Contact will be made through both direct and indirect channels. The Onboarding Specialist/MISR will be assigned their own customer list for which they will be responsible for coverage; will generate machine and product support leads (parts and service), as well as produce leads for Hawthornes other offerings. Additionally, the Onboarding Specialist/MISR is to work with the sales team (management and sales reps) to grow existing customer accounts, facilitate lead generation, help onboard new customers, and qualify leads generated through telemarketing and other indirect channels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

1. Oversees onboarding process to ensure customer registration for CWS and support Customer Admin Tool updates / issues.
2. Train customers / sales teams on PCC, CAT Central, QR Codes, CAT Inspect, SIS2GO, Vision Link and other digital solutions.
3. Supports customers that have login issues and help resolve customer issues in the Caterpillar digital platforms.
4. Schedule and manage onsite visits with customers and market all services to customers.
5. Manage requests from CAT Digital for support issues
6. Track customer requests / visits and follow ups in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
7. Makes 50 out-bound/in-bound phone contacts per week, these do not include daily lead qualification calls.
8. Generates and evaluates leads for the sales groups through customer contact and account management.
9. Gathers and updates customer equipment lists.
10. Uses Saleslink to document customer information, leads, activities and sales transactions
11. Contacts prospective customers to determine customer needs, present product information, and explain available services. Provides information brochures and other literature to inform customers and influence buying decisions.
12. Follows up on telemarketing leads as well as digital leads.
13. Stay current on Caterpillar (CAT) and competitive products to offer the best solutions based on customer interests and concerns.
14. Presents equipment, finance options, and other solutions as needed.
15. Follows all sales processes and procedures.
16. Partners with management to ensure marketing campaigns are directed to the right opportunities for retail customers.
17. Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:  

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2. Minimum two years related sales and customer support experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
