Position Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control within the organization, driving all quality initiatives and ensuring consistent and effective quality practices within the company. Note that this position requires a Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship. 

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to set quality benchmarks
  • Create and implement quality standards in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations
  • Identify and monitor quality control processes to ensure criteria are consistently met 
  • Execute protocols and tests to check final product adherence to the company standards
  • Record findings and relay this information to the production team
  • Provide input to Operations Manager to increase productivity and performance of the manufacturing team while maintaining accuracy in quality
  • Make crucial decisions in favor of cost-efficiency without compromising on quality
  • Oversee production to ensure conformity in product processing
  • Oversee and implement safety and security protocols, policies, procedures, training and documentation to ensure the safety and privacy of people, property and sensitive information within the organization
  • Additional duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

  • Familiar with industry quality standards and processes 
  • Familiarity with safety and security measures, clearances, regulations, and systems for a manufacturing organization 
  • Proficient in computer technology and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • In-depth knowledge of market trends and conditions
  • Strong communication, leadership and management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to positively influence others
  • Great team player with strong interpersonal skills 
  • Security Clearance or ability to obtain Security Clearance (which requires US Citizenship)

Education/Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 2 or more years in a Quality Management role 

Supervisory Responsibility: 

Supervises Quality and FSO department personnel
