CALIBRE is an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company. We are looking for a highly motivated Database Architect to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This position will provide database services activities focused on the development of physical data models, database design, design of extraction, transformation and load design, data preparation design, and data interface design.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Designs and builds relational databases, data warehouses, and/or data-marts for storage, processing, and/or decision support.
• Develops strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition, and archive recovery.
• Implements business rules via stored procedures, middleware, or other technologies.
• Defines user interfaces and functional specifications.
• Responsible for verifying the accuracy of data, and the maintenance and support of the data warehouse.
• Cleans and maintains the database by removing and deleting old data.
• Evaluates new data sources for adherence to the organization's quality standards and ease of integration.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently on several concurrent tasks with changing priorities.
• Must be detail oriented.


• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in Information Technology or in a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Database Administration.
• Experience leading and directing the work of others.
• Experience performing a variety of complicated tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Reporting services.
