Position Summary
The IT Systems Support Specialist II provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end-user devices, software, and business systems across the organization. In addition to daily operational support, this role actively contributes to IT transformation initiatives by assisting in the rollout of new technologies, user training, and documenting updated processes. The position is based out of the Waséyabek Corporate Office in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:
•   Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment in Windows and macOS environments.
•   Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, VPN, Teams, SharePoint, and standard enterprise applications.
•   Support user onboarding/offboarding, including device provisioning, permissions setup, and account lifecycle management via Microsoft Entra ID and Intune.
•   Maintain accurate asset tracking for all IT equipment, ensuring timely updates during project transitions.
•   Assist with deployment and configuration of devices and applications during IT transformation rollouts (e.g., migration to new collaboration tools or security tools).
•   Conduct user acceptance testing and provide user support during technology transitions.
•   Update and maintain documentation and SOPs to reflect system and workflow changes from transformation projects.
•   Participate in IT pilot groups and provide feedback to project teams on deployment impact and user experience.
•   Other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•   2+ years of IT technical support experience in a professional environment and high school completion or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•   Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite, Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint management tools.
•   Ability to follow structured implementation and rollout plans.
•   Strong communication and end-user training support skills.
•   Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
•   Ability to pass an extensive background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.
•   U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•   One of the following industry certifications: Microsoft (MCP, MCSA, MCSE), CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, ITIL Intermediate
•   Prior knowledge or experience working with a Native American Tribe.

Travel Requirements:
