Oceanfreight Import Specialist - Military veterans preferred

We are looking for Specialist to join our DHL Global Forwarding team!

Position:         Oceanfreight Import Specialist

Location:                    LCB Office, Chonburi, Thailand                     

Key Tasks: -

• Coordinate with overseas, carriers, agents, brokerages, and vendors about details of the coming Import shipments.
• Coordinate with the consignee to update the schedule and ask for Greenlight/approval schedule before moving the shipment.
• Track and Trace incoming shipments via CW1 system then send arrival notice to the customer in a timely manner/ as agreed timeline.
• Provide shipment manifest to vessel/port operator prior to the arrival of the vessel.
• Manage cash flow (i.e. required local amount, required date and time),
• Provide supporting documents for the cheque /cash request process to obtain the D/O.
• Collecting all information needed to calculate bills receivable (i.e. quote, quotation, rate card, RFQ, discount rate, etc.).

Qualifications Requirements: -

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Logistics or any related field.
• At least 2-5 years’ experience in Freight forwarding or Logistics industry with a strong academic
• background in Ocean Freight Import.
• Service-mind with good customer relationship skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cooperation with all levels including management.
• Excellent MS Office skills (Words, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
