Key Responsibilities

1. Site Safety Operations – Lead and monitor daily safety activities on-site, ensuring full compliance with internal HSE policies and legal standards.

2. New Site Setup Compliance – Drive safety readiness for the new site including hazard assessment, permits, signage, emergency response planning, and contractor safety orientation.

3. Training & Awareness – Conduct regular safety inductions, toolbox talks, fire drills, and job-specific training sessions for staff and contractors.

4. Incident Management – Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

5. Safety Documentation & Reporting – Maintain safety records, audit reports, checklists, and generate timely MIS for leadership review.

6. Audits & Inspections – Conduct regular site safety inspections and coordinate external/internal safety audits; ensure timely closure of findings.

7. PPE & Safety Equipment Compliance – Ensure availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintenance of safety infrastructure.

8. Stakeholder Coordination – Collaborate with Operations, HR, Engineering, and vendor teams to embed safety in every aspect of site functioning.
