CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company, is looking for a highly motivated Senior Database Administrator to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This position will provide database services with activities focused on the development of physical data models, database design, design of extraction, transformation and load, data preparation design, and data interface design.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database.
• Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes.
• Resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
• Proposes database tools and platforms.
• Develops data models that are very detailed and fully attributed.

• Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience in Information Technology or in a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Database Administration.
• Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Experience leading and directing the work of others.
• Experience with MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Reporting services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
