Position Overview:
Under the general direction of the VP of Finance, the Insurance and Risk Analyst is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Corporate Insurance Program. This comprehensive role includes coverage placement, claims administration, contracting, loss forecasting, and reporting and analysis. The Insurance and Risk Analyst will work cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners to identify and mitigate risks, ensure appropriate insurance coverage, and support the organization’s overall risk management goals. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Expected Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate insurance, risk management, or a related field.
Experience with policy placement, renewals, claims administration, and broker/vendor management.
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn ERP (e.g., SAP), EPM (e.g., OneStream), and BI (e.g., Incorta) systems.
Familiarity with reviewing insurance language in contracts.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to influence, advise, and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as ARM (Associate in Risk Management) or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter).
Experience with a broad portfolio of insurance products (e.g., property, liability, D&O, E&O, cyber).
Working knowledge of vendor compliance and risk-related documentation.
Travel:
The annual salary range for this position in the specified geographic location is $100,000 - $125,000 The actual salary will be based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
