FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

General Overview:  

Perform general maintenance, repairs, and installation for the production equipment (Cutworx, TPS and Zund CNC machines, Astro gluers, heating & forming equipment, dies and punches) and facilities including pneumatic (air compressors), plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and other building systems. Support production by constructing jigs and cutting all-thread to length at the discretion of the Operations Manager.  

Responsibilities:

1. Corrective maintenance

a. Use resources (manuals, manufacturer support, etc.) available to troubleshoot digital flatbed      cutters, glue machines and applicators, ovens, hydraulic presses, compressors and any other   equipment used by production, samples and shipping.

b. Coordinate acquisition of parts for repairs.

c. Perform corrective maintenance and restore machines to service.

d. Communicate issues and statuses with the Operations Manager and Floor supervisor.

e. Coordinate repairs with outside services

2. Preventive maintenance

a. Adjust and modify the preventive maintenance schedule as new machinery is installed and issues arise.

3. Maintain X

a. Coordinate the acquisition and storage of parts, tools and materials for preventive procedures.

b. Record status of maintenance and frequency.

4. Coordinate facilities, infrastructure, installation and maintenance

a. Warehouse Lighting

b. Breakroom

c. Office

d. Pneumatic lines

e. Fans

f. performs other related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

  • including but not limited to: 
    • Wood shop production support.
    • Metal cutting production support for all-thread. 

Educational/Experience Requirements:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Related experience preferred.
  • Average skills of Excel. Must be able to work with and across spreadsheets and apply basic mathematical operations.
  • Previous CNC light programming/setup/operation 
  • 1-2 years of on-the-job experience preferred.
