Senior Software Developer (SQL and ASP.Net)

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company, is looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This position will provide software maintenance services to include activities required to maintain the system code in the production environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers.
• Maintains system code in Production environment to include fixes, development of limited scope enhancements, changes required by users, and other modifications as required.
• Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software.
• Documents system requirements for database, applications, and operation system environment.
• Ensures that software products meet design objectives, are of good quality, including rectifying software, database, and system defects.
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in Information Technology or in a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Application Development.
• Experience leading and directing the work of others.
• Requires extensive demonstrated coding experience in SQL and ASP.Net technologies.
• Requires experience in programming for Windows Server, IIS, SharePoint, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio
• Experience using GIT
• Experience with Datatables.net
• Experience with Agile development practices.
• Experience working as part of a development team.
• Experience with protocols for managing code changes in a structured manner.
• Experience developing release packages.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with Visual Basic and Microsoft Access
• Familiarity with Cygwin command line tools such as AWK, SED, and PERL
