Are you an experienced wrestling coach looking for an exciting opportunity to work with talented student-athletes and contribute to a Division I program? Lehigh University is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Coach for its Women's Wrestling team.

As an Assistant Coach for Women's Wrestling, you will play a crucial role in supporting the head coach in managing all aspects of a competitive intercollegiate Division I wrestling program. 

Position Number: S80007

This position is a Grade: 7 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $39,080-$46,910 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support coaching by planning practices, providing technical instruction, and offering individualized athlete development to foster personal growth and team excellence.
• Promote a positive, goal-oriented environment while monitoring and guiding student-athletes' progress.
• Assist in recruiting by identifying and evaluating prospects, building relationships with recruits and their families, and coordinating campus visits.
• Support retention by fostering an inclusive, welcoming team environment and aiding in new athlete onboarding.
• Provide administrative support through scheduling, travel coordination, equipment management, and record-keeping.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies while assisting with budget planning and responsible resource management.
• Represent the program positively through community engagement, fundraising, and alumni activities.
• Support team involvement in community service and help organize camps, clinics, and outreach initiatives.
• Contribute to program success by supporting training, scouting, match prep, and academic achievement, while fostering leadership and team cohesion.
• Enhance visibility through recruitment, alumni outreach, and community events, and commit to ongoing professional development.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• One to three years of related work experience
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and medical professionals
