We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead strategy, vision, and execution across Aptean’s unified enterprise planning and execution platform. This role will oversee a suite of solutions including Demand Planning, Network Optimization, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization & Response, and our orchestration and integration layer.
This position requires a deeply experienced product leader who can translate operational complexity into scalable, customer-centric platform capabilities—working across newly acquired and legacy products to deliver a seamless, value-driven suite.
Product Strategy & Vision
Define product direction across multiple planning and execution domains
Develop platform-level strategies that connect disparate modules into a unified user and data experience
Align product planning with market demands, technical scalability, and internal delivery velocity
Gap Analysis & Portfolio Alignment
Identify and resolve gaps, overlaps, or inefficiencies across inherited and in-flight product lines
Prioritize investments that improve platform coherence, customer outcomes, and product ROI
Act as an internal product integrator across the portfolio
Cross-functional Partnership
Partner across Engineering, UX, DevOps, Customer Success, and GTM teams to ensure clear ownership and delivery
Balance market opportunity with technical feasibility in roadmapping decisions
Serve as the go-to product leader for field teams, solution engineering, and strategic customers
Customer & Market Understanding
Continuously gather insight from users and industry leaders in CPG, manufacturing, life sciences, and food & beverage
Translate operational challenges into software capabilities that create measurable customer impact
Represent the voice of the customer across roadmap, design, and platform decisions
Platform Integration & Architecture Collaboration
Guide product integration across data models, UX, APIs, and workflows
Partner with architecture and R&D leaders to ensure long-term extensibility and system coherence
Contribute to platform-level investment decisions and modernization strategies
Team Development & Mentorship
Lead a small but growing team of product managers; mentor cross-functional peers
Instill product management best practices in backlog management, metrics, discovery, and stakeholder engagement
10–12 years in product management roles, with 3–5 years in senior or portfolio-level leadership
Background in enterprise software, ideally with SCM, ERP, or integrated planning systems
Experience overseeing product lines within multi-product portfolios or post-M&A environments
Strong grasp of demand planning, supply chain modeling, and platform-based product development
Demonstrated ability to lead transformation from module-based to unified SaaS models
Strong analytical and communication skills—comfortable with both C-level strategy and day-to-day technical tradeoffs
Candidates with experience at companies like Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, SAP IBP, Conexus, Oracle SCP, or E2open are especially encouraged to apply.
Product lifecycle tools: Aha!, Jira, Figma, Confluence, Azure DevOps
Agile methodologies, dual-track discovery, or scaled agile (e.g., SAFe)
Exposure to cloud architecture environments—Azure preferred
