Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will join a vibrant and inclusiveeducational community and have a desire and ability to work with a diversepopulation. This is a part-time,non-unit position with no benefits. Reporting to the Director of Accessibility Resources, the Test Proctorwill provide support with exam proctoring on the Framingham and Wellesleycampuses.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Administerand proctor exams to incoming students in accordance with testing policies andprocedures;
  • Maintaintesting supplies and materials, troubleshoot test administration problems, andensure optimal testing conditions;
  • Maintainhigh level of security and confidentially regarding all aspects of testing andmaterials;

  • Maintain trainings and certifications as needed to proctor Placement or other exams;

  • Assist with printing, filing, scanning and emailing exams as needed;

  • Act as areader or scribe as needed in accordance with approved student testingaccommodations;

  • Report any violations of the Code of Conduct to supervisor;

  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associatesdegree or equivalent work experience;

  • Stronginterpersonal skills, including ability to work both independently andcollaboratively;

  • Strongcomputer skills, including Microsoft Office and other similar programs;

  • Equipmentexperience and skill usage in computers, printers and copiers;

  • Ability togive written and oral communication instructions;

  • Ability toexercise sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
