WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Collaborating with other Duty Managers, Supervisors and facilities to ensure the timely connection of shipments to flight and trucking schedules
  • Coordinating shift operations, responding to queries and problem solving to address any issues encountered during the shift
  • Managing and supporting a team of Supervisors in:
    • Driving continuous improvement through understanding opportunities and root cause analysis
    • Creating a high performance safety and service culture
    • Achieving regional and country targets
  • Ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to safe work procedures, participating in WHS audits and driving a safe work culture amongst your employees
  • Maintain oversight of regulatory compliance and training measures during the shift
  • Communicating with internal and external business stakeholders
  • You will be responsible for a team of 3 Supervisors as your direct reports, with oversight of approximately 25 Operations Agents
  • This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday on the AM shift, from 6:00am - 2:00pm (flexibility may be required during peak times)

WHAT CAN YOU BRING?

  • CIM Certified - Essential
  • Experience in Service Centre and/or Gateway Management - Desirable
  • Proven people leader to successfully lead teams to achieve goals and business targets
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Internal/external relationship building, customer service focus, financial and business acumen
  • Ability to balance short-term and long-term demands delivering on departmental targets and strategy
  • Prioritise multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced environment
