Business Development & PRE-SALESÂ
Customer Account Engagement and Development (Solutions perspective):
Discovery, Solutions development and Insights:
Develop good understanding of industry business model, drivers and trends.Â
Achieve in-depth understanding of customers' global, regional and in-market demand and supply chains.
Conduct discovery meetings to validate understanding and uncover or qualify customers' business and supply chain challenge or improvement scenarios. and develop fit for purpose solutions
Conduct workshops to develop fit-for-purpose practical and cost-efficient logistics solutions that achieves customers acceptance. Â
Work with DHL business units to develop and deliver on such logistics solutions
Stakeholder management:
Awareness of Customer organization/partners, and their respective roles, stakeholders and decision makers
Work and manage DHL internal stakeholders such as CSI Commercial Team, CO functional support teams, Business Unit teams (product, operations, etc) that are relevant for the business opportunity.
Lead virtual teams (cross-region, cross business units) to drive business projects to successful deliverables.Â
Pre-RFQ positioning:
Support DHL solution development for relevant RFQs to differentiate and win bids.
RFQ
Preparing the deal:
Assess and define customer needs, leverage DHL Group capabilities to define solutions, value propositions and strategies.
Leverage Group's resources to develop winning proposals for profitability and sustainable business.
STRATEGIC & INNOVATIVE PROJECTS
Concept and Solutions development
Identify supply chain changes, needs and value driven by macro trends within the assigned sector sponsored scope.
Develop the relevant concept and detailed solutions needed to deliver to these evolving needs and value.
Project Leadership:
Develop project charters to outline the approach, including objectives, team organization, workstream allocations, project cadence, timeline, and deliverables, ensuring clear goals and structured responsibilities.
Lead teams involving multiple business units and cross-regions, to deliver planned and timely project outcomes.
Functional
1. Logistics knowhow:
Proficient knowledge and experience in international freight forwarding, warehousing, international trade, with expertise in land transport and e-commerce logistics
2. Supply Chain Solution Design:
Strong knowledge of supply chain management, including distribution channels, total landed costs, international trade and key supply chain metrics.
Experience in solution design, consulting, and process engineering for sizable supply chain projects
Excellent scoping skills to quickly identify and document project objectives from multiple inputs.
Strong storylining abilities, focusing on end goals and envisioning the approach from the project's outset.
Highly developed analytical skills for efficient data analysis and visualization.
Proficient in crafting presentations that effectively communicate key messages and maintain high-quality deliverables.
Strong problem-solving skills, including critical thinking and the ability to develop minimum viable products.
Experience managing multiple Business Units, cross-region, and multi-functional projects with diverse stakeholders using project management methodologies.
Effective stakeholder management skills to align expectations and drive collaboration.
