POSITION SUMMARY
Loan Processor will act as support to loan officers and also assist other loan personnel that produce consumer, construction, commercial, agricultural, commercial real estate and residential real estate loans. Performs various support duties pertinent to meeting the needs of our customers and development of new business through the application and closing process. Role would entail contact with customers and the public, both in person and on the phone, as well as through email.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Produce commercial loan documents, as well as some consumer real estate, and non-real estate loans, in accordance with Compliance Regulations, Loan Policy, and Loan Procedures.
Assist and support lending staff with daily responsibilities, including overdraft review, deposit transfers for customers, loan payments, loan advances, document exception reports, and Coming Due/Past Due reports.
Maintain open communication with members of the loan administration department, and any other required parties, as to the status of loan transactions.
Order preliminary title policy/opinion/search, UCC searches, Flood Certificates, environmental reports, and other related data. Coordinate with loan officer regarding issues with regards to title policy/opinion/search, UCC searches, and other credit related documentation.
Review closing documents against Credit Memo prior to loan funding and ensure all pending/exception items are properly documented. Assist with execution of loan documents.
Assist in exception processing, including insurance requirements, updated financial statements, credit reports, rent rolls, and other financial information to maintain the servicing file. As well as assist with gathering all documentation requirements for new loan processing and exceptions on coming due or past due loans.
DecisionPro processing, including entering the loan information into DecisionPro, working the tracking list, and attaching required documents for loan processing.
Processing loan documents through Laser Pro.
Customer communication: On the telephone, in person, and via email.
Liaison between other departments within the bank to provide excellent customer service.
Prepare wire transfers, payments, advances, etc.
Prepare files/tickets for booking and scanning.
Work with lender to gather documentation needed.
Work exceptions in a timely manner.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Complete compliance and continuing education classes as required.

REQUIREMENTS
Proficient knowledge or willingness to learn BancFirst Loan Policy and Procedures, Uniform Commercial Code, and Federal Compliance Regulations
Knowledge of DecisionPro/LaserPro or willingness to learn the system.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
Knowledge, or willingness to learn, of loan documentation and lending practices.
Experience and knowledge, or willingness to learn, of Regulatory Loan Compliance. i.e. HMDA, RESPA, CRA, Flood, FACT, CIP, TIL.
Management of loan technical exceptions.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules.
Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters, and meet deadlines.
Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor at all times.
Excellent work ethic.
Must be flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the department.
