The Data Entry position enters customer orders by inputting alphabetic and numeric information into a computer system on a keyboard.
This is a full-time position with normal days being Monday through Friday, from 8:00am - 4:30pm.The starting pay is $17/hr.
This is an on-site position in our Fort Lauderdale Optical Lab
You must be able to type 40 WPM with an Accuracy of 90%.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

• Enters customer and account data according to computer screen format.
• Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
• Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
• Know the follow up procedure associated with obtaining any missing data required for processing
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Education, Skills & Experience
• Must have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of standard computer equipment.
• Must have the ability to work/type fast and efficiently.
• Must be Organized, Confidential, and Thorough
Work Environment
This position operates mostly in an office setting located adjacent to an optical laboratory.
This position requires working in close proximity to a diverse group of co-workers.
