Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Configuration Management Analyst to join our West Hartford, CT Team. In this role, the individual will maintain and improve configuration management policies and procedures. They will work with sales, program management, engineering, operations and external customers e.g., aerospace, commercial (FAA) and Military representatives, verify that process is followed in accordance with the company’s configuration management policies, generate the documentation necessary to implement and monitor configuration practices and review engineering change data. Support internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

•Participation in new product proposals efforts and participation in customer and management status meetings when required, as well as the processing of ECP’s (engineering change proposal), 
•PCO’s (production change orders) and DCR’s (document change requests). 
•Must have experience running Change Control Board meetings and be able to stand in for Configuration Manager when required.
•Experience in an ERP system or a data management system, One World JD Edwards or SAP preferred. 
•Teamcenter Data management and workflow experience required. 
•Must also be comfortable working with Microsoft Office. 
•The successful candidate will be self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.
•Must be highly organized and posses effective communication skills. 
•Must be able to interface comfortably with peers, management and customers.

Qualifications

•Minimum of 5 years current experience as a Senior Configuration Engineer in configuration and data control management. 
•Bachelor degree in Engineering or a technical discipline preferred.
