Compensation: 120k - DOE

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead and coach a cross-functional product team including business analysts, engineers, configuration analysts, QA, and a team lead
  • Build a high-performing culture focused on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with the Team Lead to ensure effective daily execution and quality delivery
  • Develop talent through feedback, mentoring, and career planning

Strategic Alignment & Delivery

  • Ensure team efforts align with organizational goals, technology strategy, and roadmap
  • Oversee delivery of new features, enhancements, and support activities
  • Balance short-term support priorities with long-term product evolution
  • Track and report on team performance metrics and outcomes

Legacy System Support & Evolution

  • Oversee support and improvement efforts for legacy platforms 
  • Guide planning and transition efforts for modernization where appropriate
  • Ensure system reliability and performance while managing technical debt

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted partner to business stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Translate business priorities into actionable team backlogs in collaboration with product owners
  • Build strong, consultative relationships across departments and teams
  • Provide clear communication to stakeholders as it relates to design and implementation of processes

Change Leadership

  • Act as a change agent for IT and organizational transformation initiatives
  • Help shape a product mindset across the team and broader organization
  • Promote cultural shifts toward collaboration, innovation, and agility


Qualifications



  • 7+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role managing technical teams
  • Strong understanding of product delivery models (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Proven track record of supporting and improving legacy systems while planning for modernization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and lead through influence
  • Experience working in a transforming organization or one undergoing cultural/technical change
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the collections, financial services, or highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with systems such as FACS, Artiva, or similar legacy platforms
  • Prior experience managing teams across support, enhancements, and project delivery
  • Exposure to ITSM tools (e.g., Service Desk Plus), RPA/RDA, JIRA, and integration platforms (e.g., Boomi)
