If you are looking for a fast-paced, challenging career with a family-oriented company, Williams Form Engineering is looking for dedicated and driven candidates to fill a 1st shift Machine Operator opening at our Comstock Park, MI manufacturing facility.   


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate some or all of the following: CNC, cutoff, press, saw, screw, tesker, and thread rolling machines
  • Understand the process of all electronic transactions and necessary paperwork
  • Fill out and understand daily production logs
  • Operate forklift and crane as necessary - additional training required
  • Assist with cycle counts as necessary
  • Clean and maintain work are as instructed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or 1-2 years related experience and/or training
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
  • Manual dexterity required for assembling and operating machines
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted required
  • Able to stand, walk, bend and twist for at least seven hours per day
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment, including mechanical noise and fluctuating temperatures.  Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product.  Machinery operations require the use of safety equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hardhats.  Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
