Description

Material Control Specialist (Warehouse)

Location: Sterling, VA
 

The Sterling Integration Rugged Hardware Business Line at Leidos Maritime Systems Division currently has an opening for a Material Control Specialist to join our team in Sterling, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to support the mission of the Department of Defense (DoD), providing critical material handling support in a dynamic production and integration facility serving our DoD customers.


Primary Responsibilities

The Material Control Specialist will play a key role in warehouse operations and logistics support, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of all materials. Key duties include:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials.
  • Stock inventory and organize materials on warehouse shelving systems.
  • Pick and deliver materials to production teams and designated personnel.
  • Perform cycle counts, assist with inventory reconciliation, and report discrepancies.
  • Coordinate the shipment and internal distribution of large items (e.g., palletized goods).
  • Package and ship products in accordance with company and government requirements.
  • Set up and connect IT equipment for remote configuration tasks.
  • Maintain and manage inventory across company-owned, government-owned, and customer-owned assets.
  • Support ongoing warehouse and logistics operations as directed.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $30,550.00 - $55,225.00
