JOB DESCRIPTION

The Interior Woodcare Product Marketing Co-Op in Consumer Brands Group (CBG) at Sherwin-Williams will be responsible for supporting marketing initiatives for product commercialization, product line maintenance and drive brand awareness and consideration for brands like Minwax, DuraSeal, and Masterline. This includes supporting competitive analysis, label development, and sales collateral projects. This is an opening for a Year-Round Co-Op at our Cleveland Headquarters office.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Sr. Product Marketing Manager and Associate Product Marketing Manager in managing the product life cycle for our Interior Woodcare product lines
  • Lead competitive analysis work such as market assessments, competitive price shops, retail audits, etc.
  • Participate in application sessions and evaluations of products at our lab facility
  • Assist with pulling pertinent business/financial reports
  • Work with Marketing Communications on package development, catalog maintenance and asset creation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Brand/Channel Marketing, Sales, Technical, Global Sourcing, Global Supply Chain & Finance

QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

  • Required:
    • Current undergraduate student pursing a degree in Marketing or Business-related field
    • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Must be available to work as close to 37.5 hours per week as possible during the summer and 20-25 hours per week during the school year

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Required:
    • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
    • Proficient in MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
    • Organized, strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
    • Analytical and metrics-driven with a strategic mindset
    • Comfort with public speaking and small group collaboration
