Role Purpose
The IT Senior Director is responsible for the direction, planning and administration of the company's technological area, following regional and local guidelines. In addition, he/she must direct, plan and execute the infrastructure, telecommunications and services initiatives of the country, as well as define, monitor and implement solutions and improvements for service indicators.
Main Accountabilities
· Implement and ensure compliance with technology policies, standards and procedures to establish clear guidelines for the operation, programming and design of systems.
· Review and prioritize the implementation of new systems to approve technology projects, estimating costs and allocating resources efficiently.
· Maintain clear communication with management on technology developments and regular updates on project progress and impact.
· Automate and optimize company processes through cost-benefit analysis to implement solutions that improve operational efficiency.
· Manage the IT department budget and monitor expenses, ensuring efficient use of financial resources.
· Stay up to date on the latest technology trends and adopt new technologies, as well as organize training programs for staff.
· Participate in the resolution of critical IT problems and solve significant problems in the IT area.
· Recognize and reward the achievements of the IT team, promoting motivation and commitment.
· Implement regional standards and projects with coherence and alignment of local initiatives with regional guidelines.
