Overview:

We're on the hunt for a data-savvy, strategy-driven, donor-loving unicorn to be our Director of Prospect Management and Data Analytics (AP25-060). In this role, you'll be the behind-the-scenes mastermind who helps turn passionate alumni and supporters into proud philanthropists.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Architect of Advancement Strategy: Design and implement a rock-solid portfolio management system to help our fundraising team work smarter, not harder.
- Data Whisperer: Turn raw data into actionable insights, tracking engagement and uncovering hidden gems in our donor pool.
- Prospect Detective: Lead research efforts on individual, corporate, and foundation prospects-no lead too small, no opportunity overlooked.
- Pipeline Builder Extraordinaire: Develop sustainable systems to keep our donor pipeline flowing and future gifts growing.
- Coach & Collaborator: Train, guide, and partner with advancement staff to ensure they have the right prospects and tools at the right time.
- Guardian of Best Practices: Establish guidelines, processes, and procedures that align with industry standards and elevate our advancement game.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications-Bachelor's degree required
-At least 5 years of experience in nonprofit information or prospect research and analytics, preferably in higher education
-Experience with relational databases; Raiser's Edge experience preferred
-Experience performing data mining, research and analysis using various tools, databases and sources of information
-Demonstrated knowledge of philanthropy and comprehensive campaign fundraising practices
-Strong computer, analytical and organizational skills
-Strong written and presentation skills
-Experience with Power Bl or similar tools is preferred
