Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Content Marketing Specialist to develop, manage, and optimize digital content for our Service Tools products in the HVAC/R market. This person is a strong individual contributor who has the ability to create and execute digital media strategies through compelling and visual storytelling that drives engagement and visibility.

You will be responsible for managing the content for our Service Tools group communication channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube), as well as contribute as part of a team to manage website content. The Content Marketing Specialist will also assist with procuring promotional materials and distributing to both internal and external partners.

This individual must know what makes a great story; excel at collaboration; provide excellent service; and have expertise in paid and organic digital media. This individual thinks creatively, strategically, and critically, and is highly organized.

The position is located in the U.S. headquarters in Syracuse N.Y. as part of the Service Tools group.

Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with the Service Tools team and Global Communication team to understand and refine the global communication strategy.
  • Manage the INFICON Service Tools social media channels by coordinating, posting and monitoring organic and paid content.
  • Research and identify new platforms and digital media opportunities
  • Help manage and optimize Service Tools website content.
  • Proofread English content and coordinate internal translation for other languages.
  • Monitor digital KPIs and optimize the channels for performance and communication strategy together with external partners
  • Participate in the development and execution of content for communication activities, events, and campaigns.
  • Film and edit video content for product videos
  • Assist with fulfilling incoming marketing and merchandising requests
  • Supply and replenish marketing materials for various events as needed, including counter days and trade shows
  • Research and procure promotional items


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience managing digital media
  • Experience with CMS platforms, content management and content creation tools (like Adobe Creative Suite, Matomo, Semrush, Falcon, Hubspot) in a similar role
  • Basic Knowledge of digital ad creation liked LinkedIn Campaign Manager or Google Ads Manager
  • Strong project management and communication skills; highly preferred to have Jira or Confluence platform experience 
  • Advanced writing skills and SEO fundamentals, interest in technical products and high-tech industries
  • Fluent in English, any additional languages or experience working in an international company is a plus
  • Willingness to travel (appr. 10%) as needed 


Additional Information

For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000per year. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
