Cyber Security Analyst
Quantico, VA
Reports to and receives work direction from the Senior Cyber Security Analyst. Demonstrated capability in one or more of the Information Technology core areas; Computer System Engineering; Computer System Services; Data Management Services; Modeling, Analysis and Simulation; Professional Support Services; Test, Analysis and Evaluation; and Systems Integration. Experience in systems development, analysis, or design. Requires competence in all phases of system analysis techniques, system design concepts, computer programming languages and the ability to work with end users to develop system designs from end user's specifications. The contractor shall provide expertise and possess a thorough understanding of networks and the creation of LVC training simulations via LAN and WAN solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the simulations environment by verifying authorities to operate (ATOs) and authorities to connect (ATCs) and by working within the established parameters as determined by individual network owners and administrators.
Perform oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security program policy; special emphasis placed upon integration of existing Special Access Program network infrastructures.
Develop and oversee operational information systems security implementation policy and guidelines of network security, based upon the Risk Management Framework (RMF) with emphasis on Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) authorization process.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's is preferred.
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) preferred.
EXPERIENCE
5-7 year of experience with DoD Cybersecurity to include an understanding of the USMC process of Authorities to Operate.
Must have expert knowledge of DoD, National and applicable service and agency security policy, manuals, and standards.
Experience with configuration/certification and auditing/analysis Windows/Linux operating systems and system virtualization in Peer-to-peer, LAN & WAN networks.
Prior performance in roles such as Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE)

Strong understanding of the eMass system.
Demonstrated understanding of the development and usage of SCAP Compliance Checker, Tenable Security Center, StigViewer.
Able to validate system configurations, cybersecurity best practices, and IAVM compliance.
Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent detail oriented, organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Office

WORKING CONDITIONS
Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
Requires 10% - 15% travel.
Daily travel in the local area during the workday (including the use of a personal vehicle).
Extended workdays and weekend work may be required.
