General Summary: The Wellness Counselor provides short-term, multiculturally competent psychological counseling and support to a highly diverse student population, fostering their personal development and academic success. This individual establishes and maintains partnerships with regional agencies to facilitate referral-based services for students requiring ongoing support. Additionally, the Wellness Counselor consults with faculty, staff, and administrators, offering professional development on student mental health and crisis intervention strategies.

Salary Range: $99,589 is the starting salary for Column H under the MCCC Salary grids for a Grade 6 rank; actual salary commensurate with academic background and experience. Employees of Middlesex Community College are considered employees of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and receive benefits, which include:
Location: Lowell campus with travel to Bedford as needed/scheduled
Hours: 37.5 per week, schedule to be determined upon hire, this position will be eligible for a maximum of one day of telework in accordance with the College's telework policy.
