Responsibilities
- Aid assigned customers through the execution of strategies and plans that capitalize on the customer’s strengths as supplemented by Triumph products and services.
- Data entry: Enter purchase orders and ship product to various customers.
- Follows policies & procedures aligned w/Contracts Playbook & company delegations.
- Build customer relationships with the assigned customer to guarantee great service.
- Work closely with program manager to support their programs and customer’s needs.
- Have technical ability to create spreadsheets, documentation, presentations, and system savvy to support customer needs.
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner on the processing of customer orders, acknowledgements, Purchase Order amendments, and alteration notification.
- Coordinate activities and establish individual sales strategies obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, and delivery.
- Assist with Flow Down process for customer contracts to ensure terms are aligned with company expectations prior to acceptance.
- Clearly define and communicate problems as perceived by the customer.
- Supports proposal activity including creation of compliance matrices and launching approval workflows.
- Manage quotation processes, working in conjunction with other teams, to provide timely responses to customers.
- Develop and execute program presentations as required for both internal and external customers.
- Communicate with customers on schedule and other issues on an on-going basis.
- Manage Customer orderbooks, forecast, and management orders.
- Monitor supply and demand misalignments including part shortages. Collaborate with appropriate resources to implement corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base.
- May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Qualifications
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and five (5) years contracts, program management, or related experience preferably in an aerospace environment with working knowledge of government (FAR 12/15) contracting experience or eight (8) years of equivalent related experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and office products (including MS Project)
- Able to work within a fast paced, changing, high energy environment.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
