Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established, expanding company from our Torrance office. As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with other office personnel, supporting various aspects of project management and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret work orders, statements of work (SOW), proposals, quotes, and estimates.
  • Gather and organize necessary documents and materials from Sales/Estimation teams, such as blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Coordinate job start meetings, including crew and site lead assignments.
  • Liaise with Purchasing to ensure material availability, staging, and ordering.
  • Work with the Warehouse to manage the availability and staging of tools and equipment.
  • Allocate manpower and update scheduling software accordingly.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm start and end dates, and coordinate schedules with project managers, leads, and technicians.
  • Process change orders and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Track job financials, monitor budgets, and ensure performance aligns with financial goals.
  • Verify daily logs and oversee job closeout and auditing processes.
  • Coordinate field training and work with customers on any changes to timelines, schedules, or project demands.
  • Develop project plans and schedules, and coordinate with sub-contractors as needed.
  • Schedule site walks and manage site clearances, badging procedures, and other access requirements.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Leads on material management, shipping, and permit acquisition.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for project teams.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to pass post-offer drug screening, physical, background check, and Livescan fingerprint checks.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working within a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with Vectors solutions and service offerings is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project or FileMaker is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with personal computers and various software packages.
  • A clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug test.

Compensation:

  • Starting at $24.00 per hour (Full-time).
