Description
Evaluate patients’ respiratory conditions by conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analyses, and sleep studies.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Administer therapeutic procedures including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation.
Monitor patients’ responses to therapy and adjust treatments as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and effective management strategies.
Instruct patients on the use of respiratory equipment and home care techniques.
