Position Summary:

This position will work as a positive team member to also support the executive management of KIC. This will include acting as the first point of contact for KIC shareholders, tenants, and the general public. Must present a friendly and professional image of the company, whether the interaction is over the telephone or in person. This position is required to maintain confidentiality of all shareholder, personnel, and consumer matters at all times.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain organized filing system of shareholders.
• Maintain complete confidentiality on all matters.
• Assist with taking payments for KIC Facilities Management and KIC Construction.
• Complete daily bank deposits and post office runs.
• Answer inquires and be prepared to provide general information regarding KIC operations for KIC shareholders, the public, customers, visitors and interested parties.
• Assists in maintaining Shareholder stock records to include but not limited to address updates/ name changes/ transferring of stock.
• Provide data entry and filing support as directed or authorized by the Shareholder Relations Manager.
• Assist with Board of Director meetings to include but not limited to: maintain attendance records and transcribe meeting minutes.
• Conduct pre-employment, for cause, and random drug testing as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Knowledgeable about Kotzebue and the NANA region
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of people in a team environment
• Ability to represent KIC in a positive and professional manner
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe software
• KIC Shareholder or descendent preferred

• Must be able to sit for prolonged amounts of time in front of a computer
• May lift up to 25lbs
• Entering text or data into a computer or other machine by means of a keyboard
• Holding and grasping to review paper documents and to file documents in filing cabinets
• May bend or stoop to retrieve documents and file documents in filing cabinets
• Ability to communicate orally and/or via email
