System Administrator, Senior - Military veterans preferred

RMC is hiring for a System Administrator who will provide System Administrator support to an RDT&E environment. The selected applicant will manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of windows workstations and servers and perform hardware and software installations.

The selected applicant will need to possess the following skills:

• Lead the support of virtual and physical workstation and server configurations.
• Independently perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in a classified or unclassified network environment.
• Conduct Windows 10 workstation and Server 2019 administration.
• Lead the support of the virtualization platform for Windows systems (VMWare ESXi).
• Conduct ACAS/Nessus vulnerability and scanning support.
• Manage Active Directory Domain Controllers.
• Monitoring performance including monitoring disk space, utilization, capacity and availability.
• Support ISSOs in implementing and supporting cyber security standards to include NIST and Risk Management Framework (RMF) C&A Standards.
• Create and maintain user accounts and install hardware/software.
• Perform system backup and recovery.
• Administer network security measures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments

• A Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work is required.
• Or, Four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE).
• An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
