This position is part of our Wind River business group and is located in Troy, MI.

 

Summary:

A key member of the Wind River executive leadership team. This role will drive comprehensive strategy that supports our fast-growing, innovative, and globally distributed workforce. This role is responsible for supporting the Wind River executive leadership team (ELT), talent strategy, culture development, employee experience, post-acquisition integration, and scalable HR operations to drive success.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Global Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a global people strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead a global people team in EMEA, APAC, and Americas.
  • Partner with the ELT to shape a culture that fosters innovation, agility, and collaboration across global teams.
  • Establish HR best practices that scale with the company’s rapid growth across multiple regions.
  • Align KPI’s with parent company’s strategic objectives to ensure consistency and drive organizational change.
  • Ensure NSA compliance with PSO regulations and guidelines.

 

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition COE to create strategies to attract and retain top-tier software and technology talent.
  • Partner with ELT to anticipate workforce needs, optimize global talent distribution, and drive succession planning.

 

Culture & Engagement

  • Analyze engagement survey feedback to identify key trends, areas of improvement, and employee sentiment. Develop actionable plans to drive organizational improvements and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Drive a high-performance, inclusive, and globally connected culture.
  • Implement regionalized employee engagement strategies while maintaining a unified global culture.
  • Implement best practices for managing remote, hybrid, and in-office work models across multiple regions.

 

Leadership Development & Organizational Growth

  • Partner with Talent Management COE to curate development programs to support a strong leadership pipeline in software & technology.
  • Establish mentorship, coaching, and learning opportunities to enhance career growth across geographies and Aptiv companies.
  • Build a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and adaptability.
  • Build a performance management driven organization by implementing effective processes for goal setting, coaching and development, and fostering a culture of accountability and internal career development.

 

Compensation, Benefits, & Global HR Operations

  • Partner with Total Rewards COE on compensation planning, new hire offers, retention efforts, pay equity analysis, bonus, salary adjustment, and promotion cycles.
  • Support Finance and Total Rewards in restructuring the annual rewards philosophy and transitioning equity program to align with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the Benefits Team to manage and optimize global benefits programs and vendor management ensuring consistency and compliance across multiple regions while addressing local needs and regulations.
  • Manage global HR operations, ensuring seamless execution of HR processes and policies, compliance with international labor laws, and alignment with HR practices across multiple regions.
  • Optimize HR technology, people analytics, and automation to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Legal Team on employee relations cases, policy development, RIF’s, organizational design, business decisions, and ensuring compliance with competitor practices and regulations.
  • Manage the People Team’s annual budget in collaboration with Finance Team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective allocation of resources.

 

Change Management & Scalability

  • Lead organizational design, change management, and workforce transformation initiatives as the company scales.
  • Drive M&A integration aligning HR processes, systems, and policies to ensure seamless transition and consistency with parent company.

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years as a senior leadership role managing HR teams across multiple countries.
  • Experience in a fast paced software or tech driven company is strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in leading HR functions for global, distributed teams across various regions.
  • Experience managing HR operations in diverse regulatory environments.
  • Deep understanding of global talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, and talent development strategies.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align people initiatives with business goals.
  • Expertise in HR technology, people analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • M&A integration experience
  • Experience supporting organization executive leadership team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience scaling HR functions in a high-growth, global technology environment.
  • Background in international labor law and compliance.
  • Knowledge of NSA compliance.
  • Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
