We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.
OVERVIEW
The?Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer?is responsible for leading the efforts of the automation team in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining automated test strategies and technologies which meet or exceed the needs of DSS’ Commercial software applications. The role demands a high degree of technical expertise as well as management level expertise in project management, organizing, prioritizing, team building and communications. Overall, this person must be able to demonstrate that within the automation team’s resources and scope of control, the team is doing its utmost to deliver fast, reliable & effective automated testing coverage.
The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (QAAE):
Design, develop, implement and maintain comprehensive automated testing strategies and frameworks that align with DSS Commercial projects scope & timelines
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
Continually evaluate, recommend and deploy tools, technologies and best practices for test automation
Develop metrics and reporting systems to track automation effectiveness
Continually mentor automation engineers on automation techniques and best practices
Troubleshoot complex automation issues and provide solutions
Monitor day-to-day activities and workloads of the automation staff
Create and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression and integration testing
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers on resolution
Maintain close, cooperative working relationships with all internal departments
Participates in presentations and meetings as an Automation Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Minimum of 5+ years hands-on QA Automation engineer experience
Minimum of 5+ years hands-on QA Analyst experience
Candidate must be proficient in one or more automation programming paradigms such as: Selenium (WebDriver); C#, Java, Java Script, or Groovy language
Minimum of 5+ years of experience analyzing, designing, and implementing integration solutions using Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins technologies or related technologies
Knowledge of Continuous Integration (DevOps) tools (Open Source or commercially available such as TFS, VSTS, Git or Docker)
Knowledge of Page Object Model design, Behavioral Drive Design (BDD) and Test Drive Design (TDD)
Has verifiable experience with QA software testing tools
Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle
Prioritizes, manages time and is detail oriented
Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field
COMPENSATION:
Salary at DSS, Inc. is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DSS, Inc. total compensation package for employees.
