Description:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities listed in a satisfactory manner:


  • Ensure all mobilizing/demobilizing unit processing activities are scheduled, to include but not limited to: Central Issue Facility (CIF) draw/turn in; identification card issue/turn-in; appropriate medical/dental processing; required briefings; Transition Assistance Program requirements; Rapid Fielding Initiative (RFI) fielding's; military personnel in-processing; DD Form 214 processing; identification tag issue; records/clearance processing and finance processing.


  • Prepare and update the master processing/training schedule as well as other associated processing documents required by the GSO.


  • Coordinate and staff the master processing/training schedule with supporting sections, and customer liaison as required to ensure accuracy of training schedules.


  • Coordinate the master processing/training schedule with the mobilization operations leadership to ensure all processing and training activities are schedule on a template standard.


  • Assist the GSO in development of unit processing schedules


  • Assist with consolidation and submission of in and around transportation requests to the appropriate transportation agency that provides in and around transportation of equipment, supplies, and personnel.


  • Coordinate for all administrative classes required for mobilization/demobilization validation.
Requirements:

  • Must possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance.


  • Must be able to communicate with people outside the organization, while representing the organization to customers, the public, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.


  • Must be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work.


  • Must have a working knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships (e.g., Company, Battalion, Brigade, Division, etc).


  • Must be able to work under stressful conditions and be physically able to demonstrate the training/support tasks to standard.


  • Must have a working knowledge of mobilization/demobilization operations.


  • Must be knowledgeable of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.


  • Must be able to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.


  • Must be able to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.


  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.


  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.


  • Must be able to speak clearly so others can understand you.


  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.


  • Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
