Dental Assistant
The Dental Assisting job will be specific to the Orthodontic Department supporting students and resident's dentists. Performing chairside dental assisting and radiography. Guiding patients through visits and treatments, ensuring charts are complete and necessary information is collected and coordinate with patient flow. Maintaining infection control in operatories and with instruments is in order.

Performs chairside dental assisting and radiography. Guides patients through visits and treatments, ensures charts are complete and necessary information is collected, and coordinates patient flow. Ensures infection control in operatories and with instruments. Maintains supplies.
The position will perform the following dental assistant functions: chairside assistance to faculty providers; maintain
an aseptic environment; follow OSHA, HIPAA and infection control guidelines; maintain and dispense inventory and
instrument cassettes; maintain patient records; assist with scheduling follow-up visits; ordering supplies and
miscellaneous clerical duties.
Maneuvering in clinical area; leaning over patient; reaching for and handing items to student dentists.
