Job Summary
The Ophthalmology Department has expanded their clinical research program and is hiring a Research Associate Clinical I to support the program.
This position will be focused on clinical study operations and study/site management, as well as ensuring we are meeting ethical and compliance standards for clinical research.
While the applicant isn’t expected to know everything when coming in, the expectation is that the person would take initiative to learn all they could about clinical research and understand basic research design, how to manage a study and recruit and enroll patients.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to operate various office machines including computers, printers, and various software packages. Interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Written and verbal communication skills. Initiative, collaboration, advanced time management skills. Technical skills applicable to essential functions and initiative.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
