Pickup Team Leader - Military veterans preferred

We are currently seeking a Pickup Team Leader to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia!

The Pickup Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and efficient pick-up arrangement from customers through effective planning of pick-up operations at the Depot.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service Management

·       Maintain good working relationships

·       Co-ordination, discussion and communication

·       Assist to keep performance and meet target

·       Problem shooting and Improvement

Stakeholder Management

·       Managing pickup process efficiently within DHLeC depot

·       Route planning and pickup courier zone assignments

·       Ensure all pickup parcels from merchants and service points within depot coverage area are done and meet the cut-off time

·       Ensure adherence to the operational workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) defined for Depot operations

·       Monitor the daily pickup scan done by the couriers and milkrun drivers , 100% pickup scan compliance.

·       Track daily pickup  loads at the Depot and plan pickup  schedules accordingly

·       Communication regarding pickup operational  route changes , route re-engineering , route planning, etc

·       Check and produce report on depot pickup performance end of the day

·       Assigning and monitoring the pickup to the couriers

·       Monitor performance of couriers and milkrun in term of pick up.

·       Special Request handling as appropriated related to pickup.

Team Management

·       Provide direction, guidance and support to employees to help them discharge their duties effectively

·       Motivate, train, coach and support new and existing employees to deliver high service level to customers

Desired Skills / Qualifications

·       2 – 3 years operations experience, preferably within transportation or logistics industry

·       Good knowledge of courier / express shipment management , route and pickup process flow

·       People management experience as a team leader or supervisor

Minimum Educational Qualification

·       Minimum SPM/high school certification.
