Auditor / Senior Auditor DHL Global Forwarding and Freight
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audit assignments including:
- Prepare audits and actively participate in opening and closing meetings.
- Conduct interviews or data analysis and perform audit testing.
- Collect, analyze and document audit results based on audit programs.
- Deliver high quality audit reports.
- Follow up on the implementation of the agreed action plans from prior audits.
- Build solid relationships with key stakeholders associated with the audited business entity.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of principles, standards, methods and audit work programs for the audit function.
- Contribute to the annual risk-based planning process.
Your offer:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Audit experience gained in accounting firm (preferable Big4) or within Internal Audit.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, particularly IFRS standards, and experience with internal controls.
- Professional handling of MS-Office. Experience with data analytics is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to assess the wider financial picture, anticipate issues before they arise, and identify opportunities to mitigate risks.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, overseeing the process and delivering on commitments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Excellent command of the English language (in written and spoken).
