The Digital Product Innovation team is responsible for developing and executing the product strategy for DHL eCommerce Americas through best-in-class digital customer apps including APIs, web applications and other digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and detail-oriented, can communicate effectively, wants to learn, and understand the complexities of the e-commerce and logistics industries, and is able to effectively prioritize and advocate for changes that benefit DHL, our customers, and our partners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Product Analyst on our Digital Product Innovation team, you will: Build an understanding of our customers, our business, and our industry. Assist in collecting and documenting business requirements, translating them into user stories, process flows, and technical specifications. Support the design of product and API features based on customer needs. Extract and analyze data to provide insights on product performance, customer usage patterns, and areas for improvement. Utilize data analytics tools to support decision making and product enhancements. Assist in the design, development and testing of API specifications. Ensure APIs are documented and meet business and technical requirements. Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that product features meet business requirements and provide a seamless user experience. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for product features, user guides, and best practices. Assist customers and partners with integrating DHL products and APIs. Analyze and design product solutions that fit the internal and external system / organizational landscapes. Coordinate improvements and new offerings with our customer service, product and operations teams. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (logistics-related or computer science-related a plus) 2 – 4 years of experience in the areas of e-commerce, product management or technology. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: Basic familiarity with APIs, web services, REST API design, general RESTful design principles Some experience with API testing tools like Postman Exposure to data analytics tools such as Elastic/Kibana/Grafana Basic knowledge with SQL for data extraction and analysis Basic skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Knowledge of Project Management Tools such as Jira, Confluence Trello, or Asana. Ability to work effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
