The Digital Product Innovation team is responsible for developing and executing the product strategy for DHL eCommerce Americas through best-in-class applications including APIs, web applications and other digital touchpoints. Come help us design, shape and advance the digital products that enable internet commerce. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and detail-oriented, has prior API design and testing experience, can communicate effectively, understands the complexities of the e-commerce and logistics industry, and is able to effectively prioritize and advocate for changes that benefit DHL, our customers, and our partners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a Senior Product Analyst on our Digital Product Innovation team, you will: Develop a deep understanding of eCommerce customers, logistics operations, and industry trends Collect and document business requirements, translating them into detailed user stories, process flows, and technical specifications. Extract, analyze, and summarize data to provide insights on product performance, customer usage patterns, and areas for improvement. Utilize data analytics tools to support decision-making and product enhancements. Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that product features meet business requirements and provide a seamless user experience. Design, testing, and evolution of APIs. Ensure APIs are well-documented and meet business and technical requirements. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to provide recommendations for product improvements and new features. Create project status update slides to track progress, communicate milestones, and highlight action items to stakeholders. Participate in cross-functional team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Collaborate closely with the Senior Product Manager to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Analyze and review solution fit after delivery, identifying additional opportunities for further improvement Provide customer-centric perspectives backed by technical understanding and insights. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Familiarity with APIs, web services, REST API design, general RESTful design principles Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman Experience to data analytics tools such as Elastic/Kibana/Grafana Knowledge with SQL for data extraction and analysis Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Experience with Project Management Tools such as Jira, Confluence Trello, or Asana. Proficiency with wireframing, mockup, and prototyping tools for web and mobile applications. Ability to work effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues Empathetic to the needs of our customers and partners EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (logistics-related or computer science-related a plus). 4+ years of experience in a product analyst or product management role, preferably in the eCommerce logistics space. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical demands are consistent with a professional office setting. Regular sitting at workstation for 25 – 75% of the work shift. Frequent standing and walking. Annual Salary of $88,570 to $125,000 . This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
