As a Principal Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for delivering cloud native solution designs and architectures for key global initiatives based on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Stack IaaS and PaaS hosting models. We are searching for an exceptional future team member with strong communication skills towards senior management and who wants to work with the best, develop their skills as leaders and create positive change. As US based team member you will represent secure public cloud services in the respective region working closely with divisional lead mainly for Supply Chain.

Essential Functions of the Job:? 

• Create and review architecture and solution design, focusing on containerization.
• Act as a technical architecture expert for internal teams.
• Implement security strategies on cloud resources and ensure compliance.
• Enforce adherence to architectural standards and guidelines.
• Provide guidance on engineering methodologies and leading practices.
• Support design and implementation in Public Cloud (Azure, Google Cloud).
• Maintain and improve public cloud consultation documentation and processes.
•  Assist onboarding teams with technical proposals and cost estimation.

Analytical Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
• Compare architectural options and propose actionable plans.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Balance strategic goals with practical implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS, CE, CIS, IS, MIS, or engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of IT industry experience.
• Expertise in architecting and designing solutions using Azure and Google IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, with a focus on Kubernetes.
• Strong technical skills in cloud solutions architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud workloads, Azure, Google SQL, and NO SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile and ITIL tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Unix and middleware skills (e.g., IBM MQ) are a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Azure Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator                    
• RedHat Certified OpenShift Administrator

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Cloud Automation Experience (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with Azure for Government
• Familiarity with VMware platform

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12+ years overall IT industry experience 
• Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for Microsoft (or) Google -centric solutions based on industry standards using Azure and Google IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.. Main focus on Kubernetes solutions required. 
• Excellent technical cloud solutions architecture skills, enabling the creation of future-proof, complex global solutions 
• Must have knowledge and hands on experience in Kubernetes, cloud workloads. 
• Must have knowledge and hands on experience in Azure, Google SQL and NO SQL Databases 
• Must have knowledge and hands on experience Azure PaaS solutions (Functions, Logic App, Event Hib, Storage account, etc..) 
• Must have knowledge and hands on experience Azure IaaS Solutions (Virtual machines) 
• Hands on experience using Agile, ITIL tools (Jira, Confluence) 
• Good to have Unix and middle ware skills (For example, IBM MQ).
