Position Summary:

ANSER is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support an upcoming federal defense program.  In this key role you will provide support for the preparation and review of program baselines; developing purchase requests, documents required for solicitations and other contract documents.  You will prepare supporting documentation such as Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Technical Data Packages, Production Plans, System Improvement Plans and Transition Plans, and identifying cost, schedule and performance tradeoffs during product development.

 Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Develop standards for review and provide comments and updates to documentation for acquisition programs to include all documentation required.
  • milestone events (MDD, MS-A, MS-B, MS-C, TC/FMR, FRP, etc).
  • Communicate, coordinate, collaborate, and liaise with program key stakeholders and senior leadership on program and acquisition statuses.
  • Develop standards for review, provide comments and updates to MIL Specs, Product Specifications, Scope of Work, Acquisition Plan and Strategy, Source Selection Plans etc.
  • Research, analyze, coordinate and evaluate, execute, monitor, and track execution for programs.
  • Facilitate and manage quarterly program reviews on behalf of the PEO for programs.
  • Assist in the planning for and conduct of Analysis of Alternative in support of (Milestone A) MS A.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of Cost Benefit Analysis.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams and coordinate planning and execution of product related events, reviews, documentation and demonstrations.
  • Assist in managing the transition of product sustainment from the Product Management Office to the Defense Logistics Agency, LCMC, or other sustainment
  • Provide consultative services related to expertise to formulate, direct and manage solutions for complex, large scale problems.
  • Provide analysis or process improvement solutions for Project Management Office specific areas as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 or more years defense acquisition experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of acquisition categories, requirements and authorities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Process the Defense Acquisition System

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with ACAT III programs.
  • Understanding of the major capability acquisition process.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in easy and digestible terms.

Full Time Salary Range for this position for this position:
$125,000—$155,000 USD
