Overview
The Supervisor, Accounts Payable will oversee ITT’s Accounts Payable team responsible for processing vendor invoices, payments, and inquiries. The Supervisor, Accounts Payable will lead our AP team through day-to-day operations. The role will report directly to the Manager of Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop Accounts Payable team ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
Support AP Manager with Month-End close process
Execute annual 1099 process
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and reduce errors
Act as point of escalation to ensure timely remediation of complex issues
Manage the day-to-day operations of the AP team, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage Internal Audit Team requests and addressing audit observations as needed.
Partner closely with Global AP Shared Services team based in India
Qualifications
6+ years of Accounts Payable experience with 2+ years of supervisory experience required
Deep understanding of the Accounts Payable process
Ability to work with a global team in a matrix organization
Experience with SAP, Serrala and Abbyy is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication with proven ability to influence up, down and across the organization
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented and results driven
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, a related field or equivalent experience
