Overview

The Supervisor, Accounts Payable will oversee ITT’s Accounts Payable team responsible for processing vendor invoices, payments, and inquiries. The Supervisor, Accounts Payable will lead our AP team through day-to-day operations. The role will report directly to the Manager of Accounts Payable.



Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Accounts Payable team ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  • Support AP Manager with Month-End close process
  • Execute annual 1099 process
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and reduce errors
  • Act as point of escalation to ensure timely remediation of complex issues
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the AP team, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage Internal Audit Team requests and addressing audit observations as needed.
  • Partner closely with Global AP Shared Services team based in India


Qualifications



  • 6+ years of Accounts Payable experience with 2+ years of supervisory experience required
  • Deep understanding of the Accounts Payable process
  • Ability to work with a global team in a matrix organization
  • Experience with SAP, Serrala and Abbyy is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication with proven ability to influence up, down and across the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented and results driven
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, a related field or equivalent experience
