Finance Analyst

Status: Full-time, on-site

Position Summary

The financial analyst is responsible for the monthly program profitability reporting & analysis, inventory trends & analysis, and the management of standard cost part estimates within the Epicor ERP system. This role will require you to be onsite at the Nashville facility.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal direction, and produce high-quality, error-free work. This role requires flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities, the ability to use independent judgment and decision-making skills, multitasking capabilities, intellectual curiosity, and professional interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Deconstruct manufacturing cost reporting into direct cost margins by customer and program
Develop segment reporting by working with cross-functional teams to identify key drivers of costs
Provide monthly variance analysis to deviations from program baseline
Provide detailed monthly program profitability analysis
Develop recommendations related to pricing and resource allocations to improve profitability
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build reports, dashboards, and visualizations to highlight data trends and irregularities
Regularly research, analyze, and reconcile inventory data for accuracy and trends
Manage the standard cost system including setting annual standards.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts
Monitor and track budget performance against targets
Participate in the monthly closing process and prepare journal entries as needed to support closing
Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
Provide backup support for Finance team members
Perform other related duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong knowledge of spreadsheets and budget analyst skills
Experience with standard cost systems and general accounting practices
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must work well in a team-based environment
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
