We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician, who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Together, staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.



Requirements:


Specialty: RN - Pediatric

Setting: Clinic

Licensure: Current, unrestricted nursing license

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Experience: 2 years of experience

Schedule: day shift; Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)


Job Duties

  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients, including administering medications, treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Assess and document the growth, development, and health status of infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries and promote overall health and wellness.
  • Assist in the performance of diagnostic tests and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Monitor and interpret patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Support and provide emotional comfort to pediatric patients and their families during treatment and hospitalization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress.
  • Participate in discharge planning and provide follow-up care instructions to families and caregivers.
  • Adhere to established pediatric nursing protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with pediatric nursing practices and advancements.
  • Respond effectively in emergency situations, providing life-saving interventions and stabilizing patients.
