Function of Position:
Instructors prepare and teach courses in the department, develop new educational materials, and assist with the assessment of student learning, as appropriate. Classes are at Downtown Campus or online or hybrid modality, as needed. Instructors report to the Advanced Manufacturing Manager. The successful candidate will bring a passion for teaching and a desire to support and mentor MCC students as they pursue educational and career goals.

Hourly Rate: Hourly Rate is determined based on experience, internal equity and college budget. This position has a range of $40 to $50 hourly and is based on these mentioned factors.
Work Schedule: Dependent on course offer. Typical class could be 2 to 3 classes per week (each 4 hours long) and can range from 2 to 4 months. The exact days of the week and overall length of the entire course offering will be spelled out in a Letter of Agreement.
MCC offers a Flexible Work Policy for benefit eligible employees. Types of flexible work arrangements include flextime/staggered shifts, remote work/telecommuting and compressed work schedule. The availability of flexible work arrangements varies by division, department, and position, based upon business and operational needs.
