Business Development Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development Assistant to play a critical role in driving growth at both the regional and national levels. This position supports our Business Development team by identifying project opportunities, fostering relationships with clients and partners, and coordinating efforts across internal teams to align with our strategic goals.
Position Summary:
The Business Development Assistant will support the development and execution of sales strategies by assisting with client outreach, market research, proposal development, and marketing initiatives. Working closely with the Business Development Manager, Operations, and the Design Team, this role ensures that business development efforts are well-coordinated and effectively executed.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Engagement
  • Support client outreach, relationship-building, and market research to identify new opportunities.
  • Manage and track client interactions using CRM tools.
  • Assist in qualifying business opportunities and coordinate with Operations to align potential projects. Help develop budgets, proposals, and presentations to support business objectives.
Marketing & Brand Development
  • Maintain and update marketing materials, including proposals, brochures, and digital content.
  • Manage social media campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
  • Assist in planning and executing conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
Collaboration & Technical Knowledge
  • Work with Operations to understand field processes and service capabilities.
  • Align with internal business development and marketing teams to share insights and strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing (industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to research and identify market trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

The salary range for this position is: $65,000-$80,000. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
