Epsilon C5I (www.epsilonsystems.com/c5i), focused on software development and systems engineering for complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems, is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst II with a minimum of 3 years’ experience for work in Charleston, SC . Duties and Responsibilities:

• Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending.

• Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.

• May conduct training sessions for company or Government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.

• Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders.

• Manage finances across multiple funding types.

• Track budgets, costs, and variances. Produce executive summaries.

• Conduct financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer requirements.

• Develop and propose courses of actions (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business related field.

• Three (3) years of experience providing financial management support to a program/project and/or corporate operations department.

• Experience providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets; measuring organizational performance; assessing the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.

• Experience examining budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.

• Experience employing cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.

• Ability to provide interpret and apply financial management principles; and apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations and organizational strategic goals.

• Proficient in research methods, statistical analysis, and the use of financial/analytical software (spreadsheets); have experience related to working as part of a team in the delivery of product or service; and have experience working with the Navy Working Capital Fund business model.

• Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
