Position Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trucking Admin Intern to support our logistics and construction operations team. The intern will assist in the coordination, tracking, and documentation of trucking activities, helping ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment to and from construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling and dispatching trucks for material deliveries and pickups.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of daily trucking activity.
  • Input and verify trucking tickets, timesheets, and delivery receipts.
  • Communicate with drivers, subcontractors, and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and issues.
  • Help track fuel usage, mileage, and maintenance records.
  • Support compliance efforts related to DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with preparing reports on trucking performance, costs, and efficiency.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document scanning.


Position Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Previous experience or interest in construction or logistics is a plus.
